was just watching a video of MARTINA HINGIS on youtube. yeah i know its rather lame. but then when i was watching, it just appeared to me how great a player she was. and that retiring for 3 years and trying to make a come back now will never be easy.

she had everything her way, being the youngest ever world no. 1 and being in all 4 grandslam finals in a year. an amazing achievement. then i thought to myself how wasted it was for her to retire. if she stayed on tour, i think she'd probably be on top! what a big big waste.
