phew...
watched memoirs of a geisha on dvd when i got back today.i thought it was quite an interesting movie.
i liked the beginning part where it had the little chiyo.like when she was 9 years old.she was so 'innocent'.didnt even know what a geisha was and she aspired to be one.and she'd run around in her wooden slippers and sloppy japanese robe thing.haha.
but one thing i found funny was.she had a crush on some guy so much older than her.and at the age of 10.isnt it a bit too young?HAHAHA.

so that was my favourite part.didnt like second half of the movie.after WW2 it got so boring and modern-ish.americans in japan just dont quite fit in.looks really weird with ang mohs walking around the streets of osaka.

on a whole, the movie was quite nice.rather sophisticated, the way the narrator was speaking.and i think japan's culture is beautiful!!the kimonos and stuff like that.what i find funny is that they have different ranks for stuff.like geisha is high class, then courtesan is those loose women.interesting:)
ANYWAYY.physics paper today was quite a killer.everyone were kinda complaining after it ended.i didnt have much to comment.just decided to forget about it.heh.
must thank martin for helping me with physics last night.otherwise i dont think i'd be able to answer a single question today.thanks:D
its the weekend!and yes, i finally have a LITTLE break from studying.a little..going to start studying in a while.
keeps raining nowadays.every morning i wake up to a cold cold room.but i think its better than a warm one.lol.
its been a long long time since i played tennis with my schoolmates.thanks to the school locking up the tennis courts.cant wait for the exams to end so we can meet up and play.
IM HUNGRY!so im going off now to buy some food:)
