okay so im back from church camp!
finally going to do an update about everythingg(:
yeah so mission trip to hanoi was quite meaningful.
was able to see what vietnam was like.
the traffic and all that was hectic but hey, i liked it!
the teaching sessions i felt were quite fun!
especially with darren and christine there,
well i wasnt as boring as it seemed.
and we had quite some fun laughing and playing
and hanging out together eh!
the kids there were quite interesting too.
as in, their english is very very poor as compared to last years.
so we had some difficulty trying to communicate with them.
yeah and i was attached with aunt audrey to LOVE group,
only the best group arounddd! :DD not.
our group's english sucked
and we had to rely on one exceptionally good girl.
who was able to help us translate at times LOL!
she's a very sweet girl, but rather sexist..
i guess they're like that at that age larhh.
the lunch there was ermmm NO COMMENTS!
haha probably the healthiest lunches i've had.
i merely munched on the rice and veg cause the meat was ughh!
but overall quite a cool experienceee(:
evenings were spent either walking around shopping centre called big C,
or lazing around the hotel rooms,
pigging out on junk food and watching tennis!
i was soooo happy i managed to find the tennis channel.
darren and i totally got hooked onto MTV and various other channels haha!!
there wasnt much to shop in vietnam anyway
so didnt buy much.
only got 6 fans for the guys.
but havent passed to them yet.
got addicted to playing with fans there cause
the language centre was quite warm.
i bought a fan.. after awhile
i got soo bored i started twirling it around.
yeah so we played with fans -_-"'
ohh shirley also made the entire trip so much more fun!
she's so funny and stuff.
HAHAHA and hanging out with us :D
she's still there i think.. coming back soon!
i hope she had fun cause i know i did.

yup so i guess that was very much the mission trip.
i learnt alot alot.
especially to be PATIENT!
something i really really lack in.. most of the time
it's with little kids who piss me off!
HAHA yeah i was forced to speak slowly
and keep repeating myself.
after awhile i got used to being a patient thing lol.
andd seeing the adults in a different light was interesting.
HAHAH they were all quite funny!
we needed hard boil eggs one morning for our teaching session,
and aunt janice suggested we asked the breakfast person
to hard boil the eggs instead of frying them.
cause usually we have fried eggs!
she was soo funny larh!
yeah so i guess the entire experience was different.
the taxi drivers are soo cheapskate.
they purposely take the long routes to get more money one!
freaking cheapos can.
and aunt audrey always kenna those cheaterbugs!
HAHAHA and aunt audrey kept calling herself a jinx tsk tsk.
and that's about it..
i cant really put everything into words.
it's really hard to explain so you gotta go and try it yourself!

me, darren and shirley outside our hotel "newtown hotel". haha darren liked the name of the hotel cause it reminded him of somEonE ehhh HAHAHAHA!! and christine never wanted to take pictures with us so we made her take for us instead. i think i have one with all 4 of the youths, but it's in the camera so too bad HAHA.
this is my favourite drink. it's called "evening calm" for i dont know what stupid reason. i like it(: it's blended with bananas, chocolate and milk i think. which reminded me of sherrill, who likes things that taste like bananas..
this is aunt jenny! she's superrrrrrrrrr funny i tell you. HAHAHA you see her handbag, it's wrapped up in plastic. cause the retarded supermarket scared people steal things by putting into their handbags, so all the ladies had to wrap their bags up. i was so amused by it, then again waste plastic lehhh SAVE THE EARTHHH!
yeah okay now church camp!
in a nutshell, church camp was really really fun! i've been waiting soo long for this camp and i think i really enjoyed it alot. i needed the time off from other stuff back in singapore, just seeing the people i love being around with for 4 days flat, was very refreshing! and it taught us much about unity, that we should learn to be united as a body of Christ ya? although we had some retarded drama, i think we settled the problems good enough and well, i leave planet holiday hotel without a single regret. (: dont have any pictures from camp though, too bad i never take! yup, so the next camp should be YE camp at the end of the year? i'll have to look forward to that soon.
right then, i spent nearly 2 weeks out of singapore! enjoying my ass off at mission trip and church camp HAHAHHA it was super fun taking my mind off homework and school and all that. so back to the stinking reality that i have homework. ROARRRR okay so i'll start doing soon :D
