106 days, 69 working days left to ORD. the future appears rather intriguing, wonder what the tide might bring in after these 1 year and 10 months of serving the nation.
it has been a roller coaster journey since day 1 till now, my very first field camp, commissioning parade and now, 7 months into officership. what a ride. no one likes to be the lower rank. its easy being higher up they say. but all i can say is, with great power really does come great responsibility. give it a try if you must. and through it all, my eyes have been opened to the endless struggle of rank hierarchy, good and bad leadership, good and bad workers, willing and unwilling attitudes, the motivated and those who don't bother. which makes me wonder if it really is like that in every corporation, every company, every industry out there. not that its a good or bad thing, just a random thought.
well, that aside, its really disheartening to be drowned in a sorrowful outcry. and wondering, if whatever i say, would make a difference. feels terrible to be unable to help a friend in need. especially when there is absolutely nothing humanly possible, that i can do to help.
